Emmanuelle Blais – A Passion for Crossfit

Leave your thoughts

Questions with Emmanuelle Blais, co-owner, director of operations and coach at Le Vestiaire – CrossFit Villeray Gym. Emmanuelle is one of three athletes chosen for a special collaboration with lululemon for lstw #4 magazine.

3 words you would use to describe Montreal?

Beautiful, entertaining, cultural.

Your biggest inspiration?

My parents. My mom for she always sacrificed her own good for the rest of our family. My dad for he always made sure we never missed anything. They both never missed one of my hockey games until I was out in Minnesota at 18. I was so supported, it was hard not to put my heart in what I chose to do daily.

How does your sport/sweat impact you?

I have always been active, as young as I can remember. For me, sports used to be the way I could get through my studying. Then it became my job. And now I use this passion for sport/health to teach and help others live healthy lives. I am fortunate to be a coach, teach functional training for a living, and impact positively the health of others.

If you had a superpower, what would it be?

Live forever young

What’s your best part of the day?

Coffee with my dog at 4:30 am. It’s the time I take to reflect and appreciate my life, my health, and the relationships I cherish with my family/friends.

How do you take care of yourself?

I work quite a bit of hours in a week, but I try to workout/sweat at least 50minutes every day. It helps me stay focus on work or the other administrative tasks I have to do.
